Instituto Hebreo (Santiago, Chile) : Library Network

In 1998, plans were put into effect for the first token ring network in Instituto Hebreo’s base, in the Las Condes sector of Santiago, Chile. The network would connect the library’s 3 computers and another one in administrative offices within a Windows NT 3.51 environment. The project was executed within 3 days, and eventually internet connected to one of the PCs via dial up network, later on to be shared for the rest of the school. This was considered pioneering work for a high school environment, back in 1998, where only higher education institutions would have networked access to the internet.

Stanford University (California, USA) : Industrial Robotics GUI

In 2001, Stanford University commissioned the creation of a GUI (Graphical User Interface) for its CS225A class of Industrial Robotics based on the manipulation and use of a Puma 560 robotic arm. Up until then, only a CLI (command line interface) was available in RT (Real Time) Linux. The interface was created and tested, being operational by the end of 2002 and used for the first time in class in 2003.

Universidad UNIACC (Santiago, Chile) : eLearning + Media Lab

In 2000, Universidad UNIACC (Universidad de las Artes, Ciencias y Comunicaciones), a leading media and arts university based in Santiago, Chile, was transitioning to the digital medium. The plans were for a complete restructuring of its computer, radio and tv broadcasting networks, including state of the art servers, fiber optic trunks and media streaming. On top of this new interactive media network, the first eLearning e-campus (www.ecampus.cl) was developed and launched in less than 6 months, creating virtual communities spanning the TV, radio, Internet, student and teacher bodies, in an unprecedented integration project led by a multidisciplinary team of academia, scientific and engineering experts.

Aerolog Inc (Florida, USA + Latin America) : Web + Mail + VoIP network

Aerolog, a cargo and freight forwarding company was in need of a low budget VoIP communication systems and website update. A low cost Asterisk based IP PBX system was deployed and website was updated across its HQ in Miami and branch offices in Latin America.

Pegasus Jets, LLC (Florida, USA) : Web + Email network

Pegasus Jets, a corporate jet lease and rental company, approached 3AS to correct their website, which had been created defectively by a different provider. The website was corrected and the domain transferred, and eMail service was provided for their employees.

Mercury Air Group (California, USA) : Cargo System Prototype

Mercury Air Group, based in Los Angeles, California, commissioned in 2006 a prototype Cargo Distribution System, which was developed in conjunction with the Miami office, headed by Daniel Reznik, under the brand name 3 Cargo Systems, owned by 3 Atlantic Systems. The system is capable of handling optimized load / price / schedule / carrier combinations to maximize profit, minimize cost for customers and deliver outstanding freight forwarder services to the community.

Direct IP (Santiago, Chile) : VoIP infrastructure

In 2010, Andres Loi was approached by a partnership in Santiago to provide a low cost solution for VoIP Services. A billing platform was developed and incorporated in the cloud (Linux based) for a platform of IP PBX + IP phones + IP adaptors to be distributed, sold and deployed in Chile.

Comunity & Law Enforcement

Homestead Legal Center (Florida, USA) : VoIP network

Homestead Legal Center is a legal corporation located in the tip of continental Florida, in the USA. With offices in Weston, FL and Atlanta, GA, and communication bills averaging in the hundreds of dollars and tens of thousands of minutes a month, they needed a solution to reduce costs and make conferencing between locations easier and more efficient. Working in conjunction with their IT representative, a VoIP system was set up based around a 3PBX-2802 and a Mediatrix 1204 gateway, connecting over 12 IP and Softphones to their network.

League of Jewish Voters (Florida, USA) : Community and Police Force website

In mid 2008, Alan Sakowitz, outstanding community member of the North Miami Beach, approaches 3 Atlantic Systems to develop a law enforcement and community services web site oriented to the Jewish community in North Miami Beach, and aiming to expand itself to the national and international Jewish community. The result, a 1000+ user website with professional flash designs that reached hundreds of thousands of clicks in less than 6 months.

Manufacturing

Do Denim (New York / Florida / California, USA) : VoIP Network

3 Atlantic was approached to replace a legacy PBX / telephony system with an integrated, distributed VoIP network for a Jeans + Denim manufacturing company. The network consisted of an IP PBX (3VS design) and a media gateway, and 20+ IP Phones and adaptors in three locations.

Tramahuel S.A. (Santiago, Chile) : ERP Consulting Project

In 2005, one of the first projects to be awarded to recently founded 3 Atlantic Systems was a consulting project consisting in a 1 week hands-on review of Tramahuel S.A., by then the largest comforter and linen manufacturer of Chile. The project consisted in analyzing and give recommendations for the merger of systems between Tramahuel S.A. (the manufacturing facility) and Inaudito S.A., a chain of retail stores for Tramahuel’s products, recently acquired as a front-end to eliminate the need for distributors and increase the dwindling margins for their line of products.

Real Estate

My Community Homes (USA) : Establish IT / Technology Department, fractional CTO

In 2021 Andres Loi was approached by a new SFR Management Fund, My Community Homes, a startup of KKR (NY), Private Equity Fund) to create a Technology / IT Department for the fund. After two years of intense labor a 25 person team was assembled (near and on-shore), 3 major systems (Web Portal, Yardi, Zoho CRM) and 8 minor systems deployed and all goals were left on target for a corporate level full-time CTO to take over and continue. 

Sovereign Real Estate Group (USA) : Create Brokerage Portal

Sovereign Real Estate Group, a major brokerage firm in the Southeast of the United States, approached 3 Atlantic Systems to create a Web Portal Product that could automate their workflows in the evaluation, underwriting, purchasing and selling properties to Real Estate Investment Funds in the United States.

Property Investment Advisors (USA) : Fractional CTO / Senior IT Consultant

PIA has been a steady customer of 3 Atlantic Systems through a strong relationship between the partners and Andres Loi since 2005. States – 3 Atlantic Systems has provided fractional CTO services for almost 20 years, advising senior management and partners on all IT aspects of the company as it transitioned through several business models, evolving into a private equity real estate fund of over USD 100 million and thousands of multifamily condo units under management today.

Sell2Rent LLC (Florida, USA) : Partner / CTO

Danny Kattan, a partner of PIA, decides to create a spinoff Start Up to serve the residential sale-leaseback market. 3 Atlantic Systems enters into a partnership agreement and Andres Loi becomes CTO/COO from 2019 to 2023, at which stage a full-time CTO takes over and partnership is retained. Among the systems deployed are an AWS environment supporting an Investor Portal and Marketplace for properties,  CRM, Google Workspace, VoIP integrated sales / marketing environment, etc.

Accesso Partners LLC (USA) : Senior IT Consultant

As Beacon Realty International transitions to Accesso Partners LLC, a 1.5 billion dollar fun with multi-million dollar assets across major US metropolitan areas, 3 Atlantic Systems transitions Andres Loi from fractional CTO to senior IT consultant in charge of guiding the incoming IT manager in upgrading all IT systems to corporate level SaaS based vendors (i.e Yardi, CRM, etc), and integrating with banks, asset and property managers systems through APIs and custom developments.

Beacon Realty International (Florida, USA) : Web + eMail + VoIP network / Fractional CTO

Beacon Realty International, a private equity commercial real estate fund, approaches 3 Atlantic Systems in 2005 to begin creating a basic IT infrastructure and tech support for a small office and off-the-shelf 3rd party investor and property management software. Eventually the fund grows and deploys complex 3rd party integrations with other vendors in the financial system, and becomes Accesso Partners (see above).

Pointe Companies (Florida, USA) : Integrated Development Project System

Pointe Companies is in the business of buying, developing, leasing, selling and managing properties in Florida and other States. By 2007 they had grown to a point where the different departments (acquisitions, sales, marketing, development, legal, financial, management) needed a common system and interface to exchange data on projects. 3 Atlantic Systems, in a joint venture with Ladybug Design in Santiago, Chile, creates a state-of-the-art website with a catalog / showcase of projects / properties and an intranet with a complete system for accomplishing the organization’s data storage and exchange needs.

Prince Capital Partners LLC : Senior IT Consultant

3 Atlantic Systems was approached by Prince Capital Partners, a family office / investing company to consult on several high-level IT projects, including data center choice, server migration and MSP evaluation for their IT department. 

Wholesale

Linkstore Chile / Tecnologia LK (Santiago, Chile) : ERP System

Linkstore / Tecnologia LK is part of a holding of companies based in Chile, specializing in Electronics and IT services. Growing exponentially in their first 3 years, their off the shelf system quickly became inadequate for handling their everyday operations. In late 2006 3 Atlantic Systems was approached to create a unified system that handles operations, including Purchasing, Sales, Ordering, Invoicing, Delivery and Financial information consolidated for every company.

By 2007 the success of the system coupled with new incursions into the VoIP market by the owners presented our company with the opportunity to integrate their emerging VoIP commercial platform to the original system, a variation of 3Stock renamed “Cerebro” (“Brain” in Spanish), which has operated until this day incorporating an eCommerce platform and serving over 100 users / employees in the company.

Jatex GmbH (Frankfurt, Germany) : Complete ERP / Inventory Management System

In 1999 Andres Loi, back then working through consulting company ALK Systems, was approached by Jatex’s CEO to design, develop and deploy a full multimedia Enterprise Resource Planning system with a focus on wholesale Inventory Management System. Originally designed and conceived in Miami, USA using FileMaker 5.0, the system evolved into 3Stock by 2009 using a LAMP (Linux Apache MySQL PHP) environment with Virtual Machines for redundancy, and helping the company increase sales by several times their original turnover, as well as reduce costs drastically in the areas of shipping and receiving. The system grew later to encompass sister company Bougainville International, Inc for retail operations in the Southeastern United States and Caribbean areas. 

Retail

Adidas (Germany / France) : Retail / POS system

Bougainville International commissioned the development of a POS/Retail system for its Adidas store in Saint Martin, France (Caribbean). The system had to be interconnected via 3Stock to the Inventory Management systems in Europe (mainly Germany), and at the same time be able to provide metrics and dashboards on retail operations. This was implemented in 2009-2012.

Gant (Puerto Rico, USA / France) : Retail / POS system

Bougainville International hired 3AS to consult, choose and depoy a POS system compatible with their Miami HQ operations – Retail Pro 8.51 was chosen, and deployed in their flagship store of Old San Juan in 2004.

Porsche Design (USA / France) : Retail / POS system

Bougainville International purchased a license of 3Stock / POS system for their Porsche Design franchise, which started in the West Indies Mall of Marigot in Saint Martin, France (Caribbean) and expanded to 6 flagship malls across the Southeastern United States. The system had to be interconnected via 3Stock to the Inventory Management systems in Europe (mainly Germany), and at the same time be able to provide metrics and dashboards on retail operations, and share SKU coding with Adidas systems. This was implemented in 2010-2012.

Paul & Shark (France) : Retail / POS system

Bougainville International purchased a license of 3Stock / POS system for its Paul & Shark store located in the West Indies Mall of Marigot in Saint Martin, France (Caribbean). The system had to be interconnected via 3Stock to the Inventory Management systems in Miami, USA, and at the same time be able to provide metrics and dashboards on retail operations,. This was implemented in 2011.

Locatel (Florida, USA) : VoIP network

Locatel / Plenia Health is a Multinational chain of stores similar to Walgreen’s or CVS, based originally in Venezuela but with stores now in several Latin American countries and Florida, USA.

The need arose in mid 2008 for an integrated VoIP network to connect the stores and headquarters in every location, with a first stage to include Caracas, Venezuela, and Aventura, Florida. The project was a success, eliminating the need for costly dedicated communication networks and long distance charges.

Biohealth LLC (Florida, USA) : VoIP network

Biohealth LLC, a multinational company specializing in health and medical supplies approached 3 Atlantic Systems in 2006 to connect their Brickell based Miami, FL office to their headquarters in Santiago, Chile. The network was elegantly and economically connected via their 2 PBX’s and 2 ATA’s.
